Project Description Software will be developed by Canarys Automations private Ltd. for online continuous volumetric discharge live data capture, monitoring, and water accounting system in Upper Tunga / Bhadra / Gondhi / Tungabhadra / SLIS / Vijayanagara canal network separately with each set of users having access to their data as per jurisdiction and authority. Using the software, the officers can capture the water schedule, allocate water in volumetric terms at each offtake where measurements are being done, and the software automatically compare the live data with the planned data. The excesses and deficits are compared, anything above a set limit is sent to the users/officers as an alarm. Regular data distribution is made through SMS to defined users on their mobile numbers and at any given time users can access the web based reports. A separate smartphone application will be custom developed to the users in this project, which can be downloaded on to their smartphone to directly provide them with live data of the select location in their jurisdiction and handover points.
